The reasons and advantages of adopting nylon material for awning fittings as opposed to adopting other major plastic materials for awning fittings.

First, high strength and high toughness Example: When a boat sails on water and encounters rapids and high winds and waves, nylon parts are better able to withstand the vibration and impact of engine operation, while maintaining good dimensional stability and mechanical properties. In contrast, some plastics in the same class, such as polyoxymethylene (POM), although also has a high strength, but in terms of toughness and impact resistance may not be as good as nylon.

Second, good abrasion resistance Example: This can prolong the life of awning accessories (e.g. folding joints, sliding parts, etc.) that are subject to frequent movement and friction, reducing the frequency of repair and replacement. If ordinary plastics such as polystyrene (PS) are used, they will soon wear out or even be damaged due to their poor abrasion resistance.

Third, fatigue resistance Example: In repeatedly folded awnings, nylon parts can withstand long-term opening and closing cycles and are not susceptible to fatigue cracks and breaks. And plastics like polypropylene (PP) are prone to fatigue damage under such frequent stress.

Fourth, in the outdoor environment, awnings may be subject to rain, airborne pollutants and other erosion, nylon can resist the erosion of a variety of chemicals, to ensure sealing performance and service life. For example, in the outdoor water wind and sun, nylon seals can work stably for a long time, while polyethylene (PE) and other plastics in the face of strong corrosive chemicals, the performance may decline rapidly.

Five, good vibration absorption Example: in the awning, nylon can effectively absorb the vibration generated when the boat sailing on the water, improve the stability and stability of the awning. In contrast, plastics such as polycarbonate (PC) have relatively poor performance in vibration absorption.
